Ozone treatment methods

Methods of medical administration of the oxygen-ozone mixture

AUTOHEMOTRANSFUSION TREATMENT

Autohemotransfusion (LAH – Large AutoHemotherapy) – intravenous, the most effective form of ozone therapy. It consists in taking the patient’s blood into a vacuum bottle, to which an oxygen-ozone mixture is then added. Subsequently, ozone saturated blood is administered back to the patient’s body, intravenously, in a closed circuit. The procedure lasts about 15 minutes, requires one intravenous injection.

SMALL AUTOHEMOTRANSFUSION

Small Autohemotransfusion (SAH – Small AutoHemotherapy) – involves intramuscular administration of your own, ozonized blood (10-20ml). A method that intensively activates the immune system.

OZONATED SALINE, ADMINISTERED INTRAVENOUSLY

Ozone saline, administered intravenously (in the form of a drip) – a method that allows the use of relatively low doses of ozone.

ENTERAL TREATMENT

Enteral treatment (rectal administration of the oxygen-ozone mixture in gaseous form, RI – Rectal Insufflation) – can be used as an alternative to intravenous administration, because ozone administered in this way also has a systemic effect. Ozone in the form of gas is administered rectally with a special rectal administration set. Ozone enters the wall of the large intestine, through which it penetrates into the blood. It is an uncomplicated and painless procedure. The set ensures the comfort of the procedure because the patient independently regulates the speed and strength of gas delivery. It is estimated that the effectiveness of three enteral procedures is equal to two autohemotransfusion procedures. The method is especially recommended for patients who have diseases of the large intestine, because the local effect of ozone will in this case add up to the systemic effect. This type of therapy can also be used for children.

EXTERNAL APPLICATION OF AN OXYGEN-OZONE MIXTURE ON WOUNDS

External use of the oxygen-ozone mixture for wounds (so-called “ozone shoe”) – requires a closed gas cycle, which is provided by a tight, properly certified siliconized bag, which we put on the affected limb, and then fill with an oxygen-ozone gas mixture. The treatment used to treat, among others difficult to heal wounds, leg ulcers, pressure sores, eczema, “diabetic foot”.

SUBCUTANEOUS INJECTION

Subcutaneous injection – an appropriate dose of the oxygen-ozone mixture is given by injection under the skin in the vicinity of the affected site. It has anti-inflammatory, and therefore also analgesic (e.g. facial nerve), antibacterial (which is important in local treatment of severe acne).

VESSEL INJECTION

Vessel (spider) injection – directly into dilated vessels (spider veins) with a precision needle a trace amount of oxygen-ozone mixture is administered, causing the walls of the vessels to “stick together” and the vessel to be excluded from the bloodstream with a very beneficial aesthetic effect.
