AMD – macular degeneration

AMD: Do you associate it with computers or with your eyes?

AMD – macular degeneration

AMD or Age-related Macular Degeneration: age-related macular degeneration. It gives its symptoms after 50 years of age.
The macula – this is a key part of the retina – the inner layer of the eye – responsible for sharp vision with high resolution.

A HOLE IN VISION

AMD ultimately leads to blindness – blindness, and it starts with innocent vision problems: reading problems, perception of straight lines as wavy, spot deficiencies in the field of view (what you see is spot “burned out”).
It is not known why the macula, as we have already said – the most important part of our eye, slowly ceases to function. It seems that one of the most serious causes are disorders of its blood supply. Organs whose blood vessels do not supply enough blood, and with it oxygen and nutrients, gradually die (this happens with a heart attack or stroke). Another important factor increasing the risk of developing macular degeneration is the excess of free oxygen radicals (belonging to the group of so-called reactive oxygen species), which destroy cells, in this case the so-called macula suppositories.
Treatment
In the classic treatment of AMD, injections of steroids and monoclonal antibodies into the eye are used. Unfortunately, all of these drugs have significant side effects in addition to their unpleasant administration.

OZONE WILL HELP

Ozone is an interesting solution. It plays a key role in preventing and stopping the progression of this disease. Through its multidirectional action, ozone therapy significantly improves the blood supply to tissues and organs. The photosensitive cells of the eye – the retina cells responsible for vision, will be better oxygenated and will have vital nutrients delivered. Another very important mechanism by which we prevent vision loss is to mobilize the body to sweep away free oxygen radicals that damage macular cells.
Ozone therapy carried out in an experienced center by qualified personnel shows no side effects. What’s more, it will help, apart from the eye, the whole body in the fight against many other ailments.

Milta

MILTA Photostimulation technology synergistically combines NPCL (Nano-Pulsed Cold Laser) laser transmitters, infrared diodes and RGB diodes (visible light: red, green and blue) in a magnetic tunnel. This synergy allows you to operate at an unmatched depth, inaccessible to conventional LEDs – due to diffusion of photons up to 13 cm in soft tissues. Emitted photons thus stimulate cell renewal processes , contributing to tissue and organ regeneration. They stimulate detoxification processes , have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-infective, anti-edema and immunostimulatory effects.
